Hygge (pronounced hoo-gAh) describes a quality of coziness and comfortable affability that creates a feeling of contentment or well-being; a quality Jessica Holtan knows a little something about.

This award-winning voice actor and singer exudes relaxation and comfort with the versatility to take on a multitude of vocal personalities. From authentic, intriguing messaging to quirky, over-the-top characters, Jessica invites the listener in, creating an impactful audible experience they will not soon forget.

Technically, Jessica (she/her) began her voice acting endeavors at eight years old when she recorded her first radio spot for her father’s radio station in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. While working to build her voiceover business, she put her corporate administrative skills to good use, enjoying successful tenures in insurance, advertising, and real estate across the Midwest. Jessica currently resides in Nashville, TN and is grateful to now work full time as a voice actor in Music City.

By taking advantage of opportunities to study with several talented mentors and coaches, Jessica learned to own her strengths as an actor and performer. She thrills clients with her clear, spot-on vocals and quick turnaround times. Jessica has worked with a diverse array of clients: Lumryz, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of NC, PenFed Credit Union, the National Business Institute, and is a frequently requested audiobook narrator. She is also a 2024 Reed Award nominee for her work in the political genre.

Jessica has a professional quality home studio that provides clean, clear audio. She uses an AudioTechnica 4047s/v mic, a Focusrite Scarlett interface, and Twisted Wave digital audio workstation on her MacBook Pro.

When she’s not in the booth, you can find Jessica enjoying her personal hygge by cooking up delicious dishes, deeply  immersing herself in video games, planning her next vacation with her honey and three beautiful children, or performing on various stages around Nashville.
